Guy is the founding principal of Projectit Performance Solutions Inc., a professional services firm dedicated to improving the delivery of strategic initiatives within organizations. Guy brings more than 30 years of management and executive experience. He has worked within the following sectors, throughout North America: High Tech, Telecommunications Financial and Insurance, Energy, Health Care, Wholesale Distribution, Retail, Professional Services and Manufacturing. He has spent his career helping organizations improve their performance.
Guy is among the first 100 persons, worldwide, to receive the "PMI Certified OMP3 Professional" certification. He is also the recipient of the Northern Telecom HR Award of Excellence of Innovation. Guy holds a Master's degree in Management Sciences - Information Systems from the University of Waterloo, and a degree in Industrial Relations, form Université Laval, along with a PMP, a CHRP designation. He is currently teaching project management at the University of Waterloo for various programs such as the: MDEI program (Master of Digital Experience Innovation), the GBDA program (Global Business and Digital Arts),... He has been a Project Management professor at the Conestoga College, a Senior Lecturer in HRM and an Executive guest speaker for the MBA program at the University of Windsor, Odette School of Business. Over the years, he has also presented on various project management topics at PMO Symposium, ProjectWord, PMI SeminarsWorld, various Symposiums and PMI chapters meetings.
An avid scuba diver, Guy also likes to sail with his children and wife of many years. Current volunteering efforts focus include secretary of the local Canadian Power & Sail Squadron, and instructing a GPS course and chart plotting course.
